1. About BayEdger
BayEdger LLC is a California limited liability company that provides digital growth, operational improvement, diagnostic, advisory, implementation, and related business services for growing local businesses.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways: information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you visit our website, and information generated through your use of third-party services we rely on to operate the site and deliver our services. The sections below describe each of these in more detail.
3. Information You Provide Directly
When you interact with BayEdger, you may provide information such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name
- Your website URL
- The content of your message or inquiry
- Scheduling details, such as your preferred date and time
- Business information you choose to share during an inquiry, consultation, or diagnostic
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we (or our service providers) may automatically collect basic technical information, including your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you visit, referring pages, and approximate location based on IP address. This information helps us understand how the site is used and helps keep it secure and functioning properly.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
- Schedule and manage consultations and diagnostics
- Communicate with you about your inquiry, engagement, or our services
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use the information you provide for purposes unrelated to these without your knowledge.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the third-party service providers described in this Policy, to the extent necessary for them to perform their function (for example, processing a form submission or a scheduling request); professional advisors, such as accountants or attorneys, where necessary; and others where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets. Any sharing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the purpose described.
7. Third-Party Services
BayEdger uses third-party services to operate the website and deliver services, which may include:
- Web3Forms, for processing contact form submissions
- Calendly, for scheduling consultations and diagnostics
- Email service providers, for sending and receiving business communications
- Vercel, for website hosting
- Vercel Analytics, for understanding site usage and conversion activity
- Payment processors, if and when paid services are introduced
- Other operational tools used to run the business
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and terms governing how they handle information, which are not controlled by BayEdger. We encourage you to review those policies as well.
8. Calendly and Scheduling
When you book a Lead Leakage Diagnostic or other consultation through Calendly, the scheduling information you provide — such as your name, email address, and preferred date and time — is collected and processed by Calendly according to Calendly’s own privacy policy and terms of service. BayEdger receives the scheduling details necessary to prepare for and conduct the consultation.
9. Contact Forms and Web3Forms
When you submit our contact form, the information you provide is processed and delivered to BayEdger through Web3Forms. Web3Forms handles the technical transmission of your submission according to its own privacy policy and terms of service. BayEdger receives and stores the content of your submission to respond to your inquiry.
10. Email Communications
If you contact us by email or provide your email address through the website, we may use it to respond to your inquiry, communicate about services you have requested, or provide information you have asked for. We do not use your email address for unrelated marketing without your consent.
11. Payments and Billing
BayEdger does not currently process payments through the website. If paid services are introduced in the future, payment and billing details would generally be processed by a third-party payment provider, and BayEdger would update this Policy to describe that provider and how payment information is handled.
12. Analytics and Tracking
BayEdger uses Vercel Analytics to help understand how visitors use the website and whether key actions — such as reaching the Lead Leakage Diagnostic, clicking through to book a consultation, or submitting the contact form — are happening as intended. Vercel Analytics may collect information such as pages visited and general usage patterns. We do not intentionally send form message content, names, email addresses, or Calendly invitee details through analytics events.
13. Future Platform Features
BayEdger may introduce additional digital tools or features in the future, such as a client portal, platform-based diagnostics, subscriptions, templates, or other digital resources. If and when these features become available, they may involve additional data collection or use, which will be described in an updated version of this Policy or in terms specific to that feature.
14. Data Retention
We retain the information we collect for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide services you have requested, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
15. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Your Choices
You may choose not to provide certain information, though this may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry or provide certain services. You may also contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to request that we correct or delete it, or to ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
17. Children’s Privacy
BayEdger’s website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
18. California Privacy Notice
Some California residents may have additional rights regarding their personal information under California law, which may include the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of certain information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. If you are a California resident and would like to make a request regarding your personal information, please contact us using the information below.
19. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including the third-party services described in this Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
